Sources of electric power-----chemical--- batteries: Hydel:coal-oil-gas based thermal:nuclear thermal:wind:solar;tidal powered:geothermal etc. The choice is vast-limited due to availability of cheaper option,capital+running+environmental+strategic/costs+indigeneous technology &expertise+long term implications+impact on biosphere+environment+species+Global warming+renewability of resources+dependence on foreign enemical sources+militaristic angles;war or like situations+sourcing of funds and econmic impact on country+gestation period of the projects+are some of the major considerations.Only the renewable resources,like solar, tidal and wind energy, can now rescue India from the energy crises.It will help reduce the content of pollution in the atmosphere.Extensive research will be conducted on it before using it.To combat the problem of shortage of energy in future we must take measures now to save the next generation from dealing with these crises
Politicians need to plan as did great heroes -say Chchatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with welfare of all at the heart.Being given to political dogfights is the bane of us today-we elect them-good or bad-criminals or gentlemen; so in turn we are to be blamed...............
